Confusing a satnav

  1. Take one satnav.
  2. Set the destination.
  3. Get in a plane and take off.
  4. Watch it freak out!

Satnavs designed for roads are designed with assumptions based on driving on the road. Therefore, when you get far enough off the planned route, they need to replan the journey. Every time they do this, this is a potential for memory to be wasted (that can be reclaimed on reboot). So the purpose of this video was to see how long it would take before the satnav would become unusable. It was a lot quicker than I expected!
